TERMOLAN ECO is a series of heat transfer fluids for domestic heating systems with an operating temperature range from -65°C up to 150°C, depending on the subtype of the heat transfer fluid.
TERMOLAN ECO heat transfer fluid is intended for use in autonomous heating and air conditioning systems of residential buildings, office premises, as well as as working fluids in heat exchangers operating at low temperatures.
Unlike heat transfer fluids containing toxic ethylene glycols and their derivatives, TERMOLAN ECO is not toxic, its spills and leaks do not pose a danger to humans and animals and can be cleaned with a conventional room cleaning cloth. This allows the use of this heat transfer fluid in everyday life, as well as in food production and warehouses.
The main advantages of Termolan ECO heat transfer fluids:
- high heat capacity;
- do not corrode the system and are safe for sealing materials;
- do not foam, do not suffocate the heating system;
- are non-toxic (unlike ethylene glycol) and safe for both humans and the environment (biodegradable);
- they have a “lubricating effect” that reduces hydrodynamic resistance and improves the working conditions of pumps in the secondary circuit;
- help to remove deposits from the internal surfaces of heat exchange equipment;
- when the water from the antifreeze composition is completely evaporated, they do not freeze during subsequent cooling to minus 65°C;
- they have a lower density compared to ethylene glycol and glycerin heat transfer fluids and, thanks to this, deliver heat faster to the most remote radiators of the heating system. At the same time, the circulation pump experiences less loads, which has a beneficial effect on its operation.
Depending on the operating conditions of the system with a heat transfer fluid, various subtypes of TERMOLAN ECO are used. The main subtypes and their characteristics are listed in the table.
