HIGH-TEMPERATURE HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS

High temperature heat transfer fluids (HTF) are used as intermediate heat carriers. They are divided into synthetic and mineral. Synthetic heat transfer oils are a product of the synthesis of special heat-resistant substances. Mineral heat transfer fluids are a product of vacuum distillation of petroleum oils.

They are most widely involved in the technological processes of industrial production. They operate with thermal oil boilers, in heat exchangers, at enterprises for the production of roofing materials, asphalt concrete plants, in bitumen and oil loading terminals, in the production of paint and varnish materials, in woodworking, chemical, petrochemical, gas chemical industry, chemical fiber production and many others.

LOW-TEMPERATURE HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS (COOLANTS)

In the technological process, the coolant faces the task of not only transferring or removing heat to the system, but also being pumped at low temperatures in cooling cycles, or simply in the process of stopping the system in conditions, for example, the Far North. In such cases, it is possible to use synthetic organic heat transfer fluids (without water content) with extremely low pour points – up to minus 120°C, and sometimes even lower. At the same time, the coolants have a wide temperature range and can be used both in the liquid phase and in the steam phase.

In industrial cooling and air conditioning installations, as well as industrial heating systems, water containing TERMOLAN® series heat transfer fluids with the latest package of anti-corrosion additives are widely used.

SILICONE HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS

TERMOLAN® Silica silicone heat transfer fluids are the most thermally resistant oils for liquid phase use. Their main distinguishing qualities are low pour point, wide temperature range, long period of operation. They can be used for more than ten years, and there is no need to top them up or change them.

The advantages of silicone heat transfer fluids also include the complete absence of a negative corrosive effect on metal surfaces and parts of heating systems at high temperature.

HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS FOR LABORATORIES

TERMOLAN® LAB series heat transfer fluids are designed for use in laboratory conditions in thermostating devices, heating and maintaining the temperatures of reactors, flasks, and thermostats, for use in liquid baths. They are safe to handle, non-toxic, do not have pungent odors, do not cause irritation, and at the same time cover a large range of operating temperatures.

Depending on the tasks and purposes of application, the optimal heat transfer fluid is selected for thermostating and heating in laboratory conditions.

HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS FOR SOLAR ENERGY

TERMOLAN® SOLAR series of synthetic heat transfer fluids is intended for use in household solar collectors, in industrial devices for generating electricity from solar energy for both northern and southern climatic zones. Heat transfer fluids for solar energy are used to transfer and use solar heat received through solar collectors of thermal energy.

TERMOLAN® SOLAR contains several corrosion inhibitors that protect the metals of the solar system from corrosion and scale formation on the heating element. TERMOLAN® SOLAR series of heat transfer fluids includes three classes: based on glycols, silicones and synthetic oils. Depending on the design of the solar system, as well as on the operating conditions, one or another class of heat transfer fluids is used

HEAT CARRIERS FOR HOUSEHOLD HEATING SYSTEMS

TERMOLAN® ECO heat transfer fluids are used for heating systems, which are non-toxic and highly ecological. Even if the heat supply system is depressurized, the spill will not harm either the people who are in the building at that time or the environment.

TERMOLAN ECO heat transfer fluid is stable when used in modern heating systems, if used in the operating temperature range, it does not decompose for a long time, does not oxidize. Moreover, its use in heating systems helps to remove scale, deposits of organic and inorganic origin from the inner walls of heat exchange equipment. In case of emergency stop of the pump at extremely low temperatures below -45°C, the heat transfer fluid will not freeze completely, only thicken with the formation of ice sludge.

DIELECTRIC HEAT TRANSFER FLUIDS

TERMOLAN® E series heat transfer fluids are highly eco-friendly organic dielectric heat carriers based on saturated hydrocarbons with a wide operating temperature range for cooling servers, data storage systems, mining farms with immersion of electronic equipment in a dielectric heat transfer fluid.

Immersion cooling of ASICs/ miners/ video cards is used to remove heat from radiators as efficiently as possible during their acceleration. Due to the uniform temperature distribution, the coolant effectively removes heat and prevents the formation of local overheating on the boards. The coolant is inert, non-toxic, non-hygroscopic, odorless, does not degrade the components of the installation (tubes, boards, radiators, chips), does not wash out the plasticizer from plastics and does not lead to corrosion.

FLUSHING OILS AND ADDITIVES

Flushing oils and additives are specially developed cleaning agents designed to dissolve and disperse deposits, which can reduce the flow and heat exchange in small and large heat exchange systems.

The flushing components are compatible with petroleum products and most types of synthetic and mineral-based heat transfer fluids. The flushing agent can be used during the operation of the system, which eliminates downtime when using flushing liquids or chemical flushing agents. The use of flushing oils in the existing heat transfer fluid does not adversely affect the characteristics of the new heat transfer fluid.

Flushing additives are synthetic substances that are added in small quantities to the heat transfer fluids operating in the system for cleaning, improving performance.
