TERMOLAN A heat transfer fluid is the most stable of all organic heat transfer fluids, consisting of a eutectic mixture of biphenyl 73.5% and diphenyloxide 26.5%.
The TERMOLAN A heat transfer fluid is designed for operation as well as in the liquid phase (from 15°C to 257°C) and in steam phase (from 257°C to 400°C).
TERMOLAN A sets solid at 12°C with insignificant volume changes. This poses no risk of damage to the equipment. Moreover, if the heat transfer fluid leaks, a characteristic smell of TERMOLAN A allows quickly detect the problem.
At a maximum use temperature of 400°C, the pressure is only 10.7 bar, which allows to use TERMOLAN A in zones with high temperature.
Operating temperatures: from 15°C up to 400°C
Operating pressures: from atmospheric to 10.6 bar.
The maximum recommended temperature in the film layer: 425 °C.
